Fassbender - Bonn

The place is located downtown and it looks quite charming. The staff were very friendly to us. The cackes, cookies, bread, chocolates and all they had just looked wonderful... and tasted better. We'll be back.

Beautiful and delicious cakes, I've only went once as a special treat. Not overly expensive either, it's just more upmarket than other places! Would recommend for families.

This café-shop is situated on one of the main shopping streets in the very centre of the city. One can have a rich breakfast, a tasty little lunch from the local produce or simply have a cup of coffee with various kinds of cakes (my favourite is a gooseberry pie with a sweet meringue). There is a big eating room on the second floor, a pair of nice seats on the first one and many tables with umbrellas outside. An extremely tasty rye bread, especially Gutskorn. All sorts of sweets including candies, cookies and chocolate with or without gift packaging, which make a nice present. A very friendly and warm service.

Fassbender's cakes are well-known in this area. They are really delicious. The bread you can buy in the bakery downstairs is also good, but pricey. The cafe offers tables outside in summer Inside I find the cafe rather cramped. Good coffee.

Cafe and more in the middle of the shopping walk. Friendly service, reasonable prices. The surrounding is not the best. Prices are reasonable.
