Oh, dear God, the highest visit from Berlin!? Not quite, because it is, of course, a (fortunately only moderate artistic reproduction of the original of the ancient Egyptians, which has already been hymnically sang by the author. Even with Venus of Willdorf or this somewhat blunt Florentine one helps with replications. After all, however, it speaks very much for the relevant know-how in the house that one presents the most beautiful woman in the world so prominently in the foyer. This is part of the extensive special exhibition "Evas Beauty Case", presented with a lot of Esprit, which will be gouted here until 22.01.2017. Restoration and optimization and equipment of all epochs are shown, findings on hairstyle and of course ample feelings, e.g. in Prawanpink illuminated 'Jewelier'. Visitors also have the opportunity to sneak to the fenced beings of some celebrities or advertising interruption: [here link] to be surprised by multimedia images. A woman in the rococoge wall has just made a tour (3 euros extra to which I wanted to sign up. But this should also be a complete discussion here. The thematic focus of the Rhine- and LVR-Landmuseum is actually more of the past here, including a "leading" archaeological research facility. Because the victorious city founders of Colonia were also very active in Bonna and its surroundings and accordingly gave lush material legacy to the joy of the author and other friends of the kingdom. Another theme is dedicated to the Neanderthal for a short time were the real original bones of Proto Rheinländer in the house. The stone and bronze period is well documented and very lively, for example with models for good construction or metal prevention. From the Celts period is the oldest Rhine-Westphalian car wheel (250 150 BC). The Middle Ages are mixed in many ways in a military way, and even in the baroque it was not really doubted by the concept of grace. This will be very lively on the basis of Cologne's Kurfürsten Clemens August, who united both worldly and spiritual top positions in a person of the Serene. The central importance of the Rhine for the region named after it is reflected in the landscape painting and the current special photographic exhibition "Bilderstrom". It is already amazing what our central water carries all this on trade, transport and tourism. The collections of the house go far beyond the approx. 2500 exhibits and also contain contributions from the coin, light shaping and graphics. The fact that the institute was founded in 1820 as a "Museum Rheinisch Westfälischer Alterthümer in Bonn" has not been an idea of the airy new building since 2003. The glass façade in front of angled wood cladding creates transparency and also the interior of the building gives generous elegance. Of course, this is the largest and most magnificent museum of the Rhineland-Landschaftsverband, which includes the Max Ernst Museum in Brühl, the Xanten archaeological park and the Römerthermen zu Zülpich. In the museum shop you will find the current exhibition program and archaeological replicas. But I only notice that it is high time for another ad break: [here link] The drink card is of course with caution to enjoy when you leave the car in the 100 parking lot. Parking fees are usually limited to 3 euros also when buying a ticket. For the entire program will be 8 euros, reduced 6 euros due. Persons under 18 and school classes receive free access. Anyone who prints his entry paper at home in advance will travel free of charge in the public transport of the VRS. When entering the foyer, I was immediately kindly questioned about my interests and if I could be helpful. But I had already informed the antique dream woman and was delivered first. The various special exhibitions in the house also lead to the continuous disassembly or disassembly of something and the corresponding parts of the building are then naturally locked. In none of my two visits, I have reached the top level of the house so far, but that will eventually work. I find it a pity that the palaeontological barrier obviously did not belong to the permanent exhibition. Even though in other parts of the country and the institutes, God knows more spectacular finds from the Dinofäns age. But perhaps one of the next great ores in the Rhineland is not only the usual Roman and Prussian plundering, but the one called "Megacephalus coliensis". I'm coming out, right? However, this is difficult to avoid in the thematic diversity present here and not always well sorted. The basic orientation of the house remains somewhat vague. Of course, the rich cultural history of the Rhineland is celebrated with the greatest authority. However, strange fractures (formerly medieval artefacts with a view to the Düsseldorf painter school, abrupt transition from the Bronze Age to the Portraitmalerey Cabinett, which is currently heavily shrunk... For such escapades, I guess I'm too easy to work. Modern art is clearly too short. You must wait for the special show 'ZERO is good for you', which starts on November 26. Of course there are wonderful special institutes in the federal city and elsewhere in the Rhineland: one cooperates project-wise with the Bundeskunsthalle and then also offers corresponding combined tickets. But it sometimes wonders if the house doesn't want more than it can. A variety of bargains according to the motto "it is then absolutely safe for all what" would not be really satisfying. A small dilemma in view of the fact that we are now in the middle of a very culturally blessed landmark. A civilization that always stood for openness and a relaxed, joyful way of life. Those who have an unhealthy attraction also practice those who... but I'm going to go again. Greetings from the pearl of the Rhineland, Sir Thomas

A truly unusual house, just a few minutes walk from Bonn Central Station, when you take the back trip and follow the signs, Even the architecture you see outside is a mixture of old and new, metal, glass, but also a Roman portal and wood construction. The new Landesmuseum Bonn, as they call themselves, cannot be described in a few words... The collection is sorted by theme, unfortunately in some places must be used very much, as well as the staff, therefore only 3 stars! Version: We visited the Landesmuseum several times, especially the spectacular special exhibitions were the reason for it. Beginning with the Lombards, above the Skytengold to photographs of more or less known persons, but always in a certain context, for example the Middle East before the First World War or a professional with portrait. At first I would like to say something about the permanent exhibition: it is accessible at 3 levels. The lockers and toilets are located in the UG, the tickets, souvenir shop and a bistro in the EC. Most of the 1st and 2nd are used for special exhibitions. In this area, photography is not allowed for comprehensible reasons. In recent years, a lot has been used to ensure that the individual subareas are also accessible to children, so in some places there are video projections that are understandable to them, for example hunting with the Neanderthals or in older parts as pictures. Even if the collection combines several thousand years, old bones remain necessary for me. The topics are as follows::Neandertal Co, new also a separate section on the Celts since 14. June; power and power; From the gods to God; Rhineland and the world; life more beautiful; Ural landscape. Neandertal Co presents the latest findings in this area, even if the Neandertal bones can be found as a permanent loan in the corresponding museum... Only available here as a replica. Here you can also learn about the customs of the following tribes, since the time when the fire was “cocked” with weapons, etc. People saw forces in work that could not be explained so that the gods were born. In the exhibition theme “From the Gods to God” pieces that both relate to the polytheistic deities and the interaction of the two monotheistic religions: Christians and Judaism. Surely what has shaped our continent for centuries – Christianity. However, it highlights the tensions that have reached its sad peak in the progroms of the last century. It is worth noting that each of the departments shows a surviving representation of more or less famous Rhine countries, including Mercator, Albertus Magnus, Heinrich Heine, Marx and Engels or Empress Theophanu. It will be explained in each case in which context they are in the exhibition on the respective topic. A small journey through the centuries with changing statistics. In the department "MACHT UND MÄCHTE" focuses on the effects that the Romans have caused, but also on what remains after a war. What can be seen here has most disturbed me from the entire exhibition. Only at the 2nd glance, when you look behind the ruins, you will find here beautiful: the Kurfürst, who had a permanent baroque appearance of some cities in the area and this influence: Clemens August von Wittelsbach. The one who made the castles in Brühl, Bonn and other places I have already presented in the right place. Here are the things that had their place in completely different worlds that still separate thousands of years. It belongs to the museum concept, but mine is certainly not! The Rhineland and the world are an area for trade, related travel and everyday life. There is the way the goods were transported, how dangerous the entire company could be and where its legacy can be detected in the closely defined world of Europe. With the centuries, the landscape was also seen as a landscape that can be visualized artistically. Here in works between Renaissance and romance, where the Rhine was viewed with a clear view. It is not possible to ignore the Düsseldorf painter school, which had produced numerous artists. What does it mean to live? There is a spontaneous food and water, but there will be much more here. One also shows that luxury is not a modern performance, but has been advertised since ancient times. What you see as such depends on the time in which you live. Between a well construction, glass rings from antiquity to metal production, there is a lot that you can see here. Man has already shaped his surroundings according to his wishes, the way between the “Urlandschaft” until today in many works, which are disproved by other means, depending on time and artist. The Roman heritage is also mentioned in Xanten, but also in the world of “technology that facilitates life. As you can see, there is something suitable for everyone! Unfortunately, I was too upset about the staff that I could shorten it to my favorite, but I don't want to write about it!
