Casa del Gatto - Bonn

I had not planned meals here, but I was fascinated by their menu and specialties offered on a few tables next to the entrance. this restaurant is under the floor and when they board, it looks pretty small. but it is bigger than it appears on the first look and in the did it is quite picturesque and comfortable. they have an extensive menu and a good selection of wines and beer. the service was excellent and the food was well prepared and really delicious. look for casa del gatto if there is something hidden in bonn, but one is worth visiting.

We fell upon this place whilst wandering around the city. Set in a quiet area with lots of outdoor seating and pleasant surrounding. We had pizza, pasta and breads, couple of bottles of red wine and soft drinks. Service was really friendly and we thoroughly...enjoyed it. So good, we went back on our last night. I thought the prices were really good for the location and what we had. Would definitely recommend.

Couple of years ago this used to be a lovely place with decent prices and courteous staff. However that is no longer the case, they have raised the prices, and the staff are incredibly slow took them 40 minutes to bring me a coffee... and the last 3 times we visited in the last year, every time they tried to overcharge us on our bill. Different staff members, same story every time. We get a bill that feels to expensive, do our calculations at the table from the menu, and always get overcharged 4 5 euros extra, when confronting the staff about it, they apologize as if it was a simple mistake and fix the price. That is unacceptable, so watch out. The food is still decent, but the service is slow and untrustworthy, we are not going back, and i would highly recommend other people to avoid this place unless you want to spend forever waiting for your food and then get overcharged.

I had dinner with a big group of friends. We didn't reserve and then kindly manage everything to receive us ~15) even they had a lot of people already. The good was good and the service really friendly but a little slow... surely for the...big group we were).

After a tiring sunday thanks to the bike riding we went to this place which is situated very near to Gunnewig residence and I wish we would have decided against it . It took a long time to get our dishes . I ordered chicken...in pepper sauce and it was under cooked . Overall not recommended at all...
