Jalisco Cafe - Bonita

I don’t understand why she felt guilty, especially since when she took my plate, she threw it in the garbage instead of showing it to the cook. It felt like they knew the caldo was bad. She came back to me, but I told her I just wanted to pay for my soda so I could leave. I was so upset that I cried. It was such a disappointing experience that the next day I shared it with my co-workers, and they told me that this restaurant is known for its issues. One of my colleagues had a similar experience just a week prior. I will never return to Jaliscos. I’m shocked that a restaurant with a three-year history has a cook who doesn’t monitor what they're serving. I wanted to give this restaurant a high rating, but I will continue to share my story until the owner fixes their refrigerator and invests in better quality control.

This isn't my first visit to Jalisco, but it's the first time I'm leaving a review. I must say, the restaurant has improved significantly compared to a few years ago when it was in a different location. The new spot is much more vibrant, spacious, and the menu has been refreshed as well. Every dish that my family and I ordered was delicious, whether it was the menudo (though it didn't look like the picture), a torta, bon and cheese burritos, or chicken enchiladas. Everything was delightful! The chips and salsa made for a great snack while we waited for our meal. The restaurant's interior is lively, colorful, and offers plenty of seating. Our server was friendly and attentive. If you're looking for an alternative place to enjoy breakfast or lunch without a long wait, I highly recommend trying Jalisco in Bonita.

I often say that, but this place is not good at all. it took 20 25 minutes to get my order and then when I got my chilaquiles they were stabbed. then the waitress took 20 minutes to come so I can know them. I'm not coming back! I do not recommend this place!

Wanted menudo, first time here, wifey had been here a couple of times before and recommended it. Hostess' are very welcoming and had excellent customer service,, we were seated in less than 10 minutes which was great. Our food as you can tell had a good presentation and drinks were on point. I would love to go back again as the food was great. However, my trip to the restroom has me EXTREMELY WORRIED as you can see from my photos. Sorry to say I almost felt dirty as I left the restroom. I hope they can take note and show some attention to hygiene in the common areas, walls, floor, old Sushi signs, it would go a long way. I held back from giving 2 stars because service was great... I hope to go back and see some changes. I will update if they do...

That WAS my go to for menudo. After today, never again. It was Mother's Day so yes I did wait a little longer for take out, which was not a problem at all. The smell of the menudo should of been my first red flag but because we were hungry and craving it, we went ahead. Boy was that regrettable. It was extremely greasy and very grainy. I called and asked to speak to the manager Maria and explained. I would of left it at that IF she would of simply apologized for my unpleasant experience. However Maria did not. She seemed offended that I was unhappy with it and stated that she has sold many plates of it today. She offered a replacement but 1 same batch, same flavor and 2 I was all the out in rancho San Diego when I called and would not make that drive again. I asked for a refund and she agreed but I need to go in person which is a bit unnecessary because you can void transactions with the receipt number, but I will go in to proceed with my refund. The menudo was bad, but I think Maria's response to my constructional criticism was worse. Not planning on ever going back.
