Scoopys Ice Creamery & Sidewalk Cafe

The burger with the works was great grilled pineapple beetroot a real Aussie burger. It's a shame they weren't homemade but that's rare these days. It's a good location with views of the ocean good access and plenty of shade. The all day breakfast was a winner. The coffee wasn't great. For a cheap meal near the beach it's excellent value

The food is ho hum and not that great. The coffee is awful and we are surrounded by the large white Ibis birds who scavenge under our tables. Orders are sometimes wrong and not well prepared

Haven't been to Scoopys in a few Years but found the food still good value. I had the Steak Sandwich and while it was tender it didn't quite cover the whole sandwich and once you had a few bites there wasn't any steak left. But overall still a nice Cafe by the Sea.

Popped in with my son for some gluten free fish, chips and salad while on the island. As usual I ordered GF fish cooked in foil. It came, once again, without foil and cooked on the contaminated griddle. Once again it had to be sent back and I had to wait while another piece was cooked. This time it came out dry and overcooked unlike the last time this happened and it came out half raw.What's happened Scoopies? Has there been a change of management and no one cares about dietary needs anymore?? Believe me it's serious stuff to this Coeliac. There are two other places on the island I can get good GF fish and chips and I will be taking myself and my family members there from now on.

Had breakfast here, fast, clean and friendly service. The food was very fresh and tasty.. we would return..
