We were served sourdough bread with soft butter, balsamic, and sea salt, which was nice. We tried the scallops and tomato bread appetizers. The tomato bread was amazing, but the scallops were small and bland. We also ordered the shrimp with fettuccine and the pan-fried cod with white beans. The fettuccine had good flavor but the shrimp were tiny, and the cod was flavorless and needed a lot of salt. We opted not to have dessert so can't comment on that. Overall, it was disappointing. However, we did enjoy our wine. The bill was high, so we recommend going to Skippers instead of spending your money here.
I had high hopes for this restaurant based on its online presence, including a great Instagram page and classy decor. Unfortunately, the reality did not live up to the hype. We ordered five dishes - beet salad, mussels, scallops, cod and beans, and shrimp pasta. While the beet salad and mussels were decent, the rest of the meal was disappointing. The scallops were tiny and lacked flavor, the cod and beans tasted strange, and the shrimp pasta was inedible. With a bill of $94 for the meal, I would not recommend this restaurant. Save your money and dine elsewhere.
Lovely waitresses, fantastic food, in a restored home. I ordered the burger, I've had it before and it was delicious as usual. The chanterelle cavatelli was the best dish I've ever eaten hands down. Wow!
The restaurant offers delicious food, making it a great choice for a night out. The historic building adds to the ambiance, and we enjoyed our seat by the water. Although the prices were higher than usual, the overall experience was well worth it.
