The Hard Shell - Bon Air

To set up the stage, we went to the restaurant during the week of the restaurant. So the menu was limited, but they were a lot of choices. My date and I went to dinner at 630 a.m., even though we had set a reservation before. When we arrived, the place was busy, and it didn't seem to wait. When we told the hostess about our reservation, she immediately told us that they should be missing and patient. We decided to sit at the bar while we waited for our table. Immediately we noticed that the conversation in this restaurant required a significant increase in volume. The bartender also imagined and shared that they were shorthanded. We're waiting for a chance to get a drink, but this never comes until we sit at our table. The waitress was pleasant, but had almost a robot-friendly, out-putting. The drinks we ordered were great. While we were talking, my date and I noticed that there were fruit flies that splashed around and showed that we were perhaps closer to the kitchen. The wall decorations were covered with dust over the table. They seemed tiresome and highly stressed. The food was good, but no material. All in all, we are glad that we at least knew that part of the money goes to charity. Sad, I won't try it again. Also, my date made the reservation and mentioned that it was our anniversary, but nothing was done or even told to congratulate us. If you won't do anything, why do you ask the reservation? Still, maybe if you visit a non-restaurant week, the experience could be better.

Great experience everywhere. Absolutely no complaints. Service was great by Matthew B. My pasta (shrimp and crab in an oregano cream sauce) was one of the most beautiful magic dishes I ever had. Pasta was perfectly cooked, sauce was delicious, fairly easy for a cream sauce and not too overwhelming. Perfection! The salmon was completely supposed... everything was good. Restaurant was also very cozy and intimate.

The food was even better than I expected. Great oysters. Spectacular Chowder. Absolutely loved the Brussel Sprouts. In fact, I had to ask the cook to tell me how he does it! You have to try. The Scallop appetizer was perfectly cooked with a sauce that was so good, we had to use it on everything else. And... the prices were reasonable. Great value for such a special meal. In addition, the service was notch. Can't wait until the next opportunity to visit again!

Here my parents and children met to eat something. We made the reservation on OpenTable. When I arrived there, the table was ready and our server came over quickly. She was able to make suggestions on the menu for questions we asked. The food came out quickly and was very good. I looked around the room to find the waitress to order a plate. The manager came by and took my order quickly. That was a plus! Overall a good experience and the food was great. Oh, and the Vanilla Bean crème brûlée was my favorite dessert.

This Place Is Over Priced and Under Portioned. I ordered 2 ibs Crab Legs Felt Like PAPER, Legs Skinny As Pencils And Cluster Looked Cut In Half. Also Look Like Someone Put A Cigar Out On One Of The Legs .
