The Strawbury Duck - Bolton

As for the staff, they truly go above and beyond for their customers! They are wonderful and always manage to bring a smile to our faces. I want to give a special shoutout to Fiona B, our waitress, who was such a lovely person. She smiled and made sure we had a great time; Fiona is a true asset to the team. Thank you for brightening my day! Honestly, if I could give 100 stars to the Earthly Beer Duck, I would do so in a heartbeat. It has a stylish ambiance, stunning views, and the best food and service. This is by far my favorite place! My advice to anyone who hasn't yet visited is: "You must go!"

We stayed at the Strawbury Duck for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Jason was an excellent host who accommodated all our needs. The pub itself is beautiful, and the food met our nutritional requirements. However, I would recommend informing the staff about any dietary needs in advance, just to be safe! We enjoyed a lovely walk to the viaduct and reservoir (make sure to wear comfortable shoes), and the next day, we visited a wellness farm where our friendly host arranged transportation for us! We give it 5 out of 5 stars!

We have visit with friends during our walk at the reservoir. What a great place I have to say , from start to finish it was all relaxing and well chilled vibe. Very friendly staff. Food was great, service was good too. Next time we will book a table as it can get busy during lunch time , especially when there are 7 of you Great job keep it up.

I loved this place. Like a real old-fashioned pub but with excellent decor and friendly atmosphere. It was lovely to sit next to one of the two log fires we saw. Food was delicious and arrived quickly but freshly cooked. I will be visiting again as ideal after a walk around Entwistle Reservoir. I would highly recommend

I had a fantastic stay! The staff were kind and welcoming. I appreciated having my own keys, allowing me to come and go freely. The rooms were lovely and equipped with everything I needed. Being right next to the railway station made travel very convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here again; it was amazing! <3
