Club Grill Steakhouse - BOLTON LANDING

Obviously the place has been there for a while and has no interest in updating something in the restaurant. Although part of the Sagamore it is not within the resort. It's a few miles away from the town on the golf course, which was a total mistake on our side, because we thought it was part of the resort on the lake. They sat on the veranda, which contains uncomfortable wooden chairs without upholstery, which are so unpleasant, it contains lighting so that you feel like in a cafeteria, and no ambience or music so you can clearly hear your neighbor's conversations. The food was average. We ordered steak, it didn't come hot and it was served on plates that didn't keep heat in the steak. This is supposed to be a steakhouse, they should know better and keep their inserts on metal plates that keep the steak hot. The plates of dinner were shaped so that your fork would roll from the plate of dinner to your round if you were not careful, this happened to both of us sitting at the table. The wine list contained no French wines. The whole evening was a total disappointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone, It was expensive, had no atmosphere, and was actually something depressing. The hostess and waitress were very nice, but I don't just want a nice hostess and nice waitress, I want a totally wonderful culinary experience and this restaurant doesn't deliver that. Do not waste your money or your time will be disappointed.

Ordnete the Ribeye medium rare and NY strip medium; they came from medium well and well done. The server did not return to the table for 30 minutes. When they said that the steaks were overcooked, we were chased by the waitress and said that we came and check 5 minutes later to make sure they are boiled to your taste, which of course they did not. Honestly, having charged the full price (300, no visit from the manager, I feel like we were literally robbed of this place.

This place is exceptional. The ambience is fantastic and the staff could not be more beautiful or more professional. This is undoubtedly a jewel in the north. Very recommended for a special evening or a special occasion.

5 of 6 fillets overcooked. Service fare at best. Not worth the money.
