Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

Great location near our hotel. Also close to many shopping areas. The staff and food was exceptional.

Its a Swiss Chalet so its not gourmet eating, but the individual Swiss Chalets do vary widely in quality based on the quality of staff and food prep, etc. The one in Bolton seems to have great servers, fast turnaround, food is always good and hot when it comes to the table, an extra dipping sauce if you want, definitely at the better end of the Swiss Chalets I have been to. We were at one at 27 and 7 for lunch last winter when at a course at a nearby hotel there and the service was poor and lukewarm food so our Bolton one gets top rating from us.

So disappointed with this location - service and food : ( Looking to enjoy an afternoon lunch with family...water received had something black floating in it, waitress replaced the first glass of water no issue. The second glass seemed to be ok, however the glass of water my wife had also had something black floating in it - and its here when things started to go down hill. We were made to feel that this issue was our fault. Maybe that's cause we poured and served our own water. Placed our order and waited for our food. When the food arrived, the crispy fried chicken looked as if it had been fried in old oil and over cooked (dark coating) - but wait, before we even attempted to begin eating, we noticed a Black Long Hair sticking out from the coating of the chicken (no one in our family has long black hair) however the cook in the back does. When we informed the server, she seemed very displeased that we were inconveniencing her again - unbelievable poor attitude and again we were made to feel that this was our fault. I can appreciate the frustration of a service going sideways but efforts to correct the issue should have become first and foremost. Not a pleasant experience at all and I wont say that we wont be back, but it will take sometime before we would reconsider.

The server was slow to take our order. Once our order arrived as usual, the chicken is what this place is all about. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The coleslaw was a little older tasting. The fries were very soggy. Still you know what you are going to get. The Chicken.

Good Sevice, clean and fast, good selections, helpfull servers, good presentation, good value for the price.
