Owners but great food and a real pride on local well cooked food. Had the rage and the Guinea-Fowl, both great and a creamy pannacotta to push them all down. Would go back to Bologna to eat here. Try it!
Staying in a local hotel, this restaurant was recommended. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the reviews on this page. We sat in the yard with a very grim waitress and told about 4 pasta dishes, no menu, no appetizers mentioned. My husband asked if they did spaghetti, but we were informed that they were only doing Tagliatelle. We ordered the daily Bolognese, cut bread from a foliage appeared, nothing special, no oils then 5 minutes later a child part of Bolognese in a small cereal dish. There was such a small part of tasteless meat. No leg, no salad. The wine was warm. My husband beat more meat should be added to the dish, and the grim woman said she knows how to cook a Bolognese! How rude. I was bitten to death with mozzies on the terrace. All in all, it was our worst experience in 7 nights at various locations and restaurants in Tuscany. A terrible service.
Excellent food, had filled tortellini and rabbits and was delicious. Very friendly staff that accommodated me without reservation and a solo dinner.
This Trattoria was very close to the hotel . Visiting Bologna with 5 friends , we decided to give it a try . The lady in charge listed off what was on the menu it would appear there is no written menu . The first dish was a pasta dish and was very tasty and filling . Some of friends were ‘adventurous ‘ and tried ‘guinea fowl ‘ and ‘rabbit ‘ I stuck to ‘tried and trusted ‘pork . All were satisfied with the dish , I felt there could have been a tad more meat on the plate , and the veggies were scant also , although the little ‘roastie ‘ potatoes where nice , again could have done with a tad more My friends availed of different dessert s , I gave them a miss . They were happy enough . The place is family run , originally opened in the 1940s . Overall I would return to eat there again
We luckily found this restaurant just around the corner from our Hotel. After walking around all day and tired we wanted somewhere close by and what a wonderful find. We went every night and had lunch before our flight home. Home cooked food and great pasta dishes. Family run business, very friendly, could not fault it. Thank you .
