We were not lucky and went on a Sunday in which they must have had some problems in the kitchen. It took more than two hours to be served, and with little children this is not pleasant! The pasta dishes were good, but not memorable, while the cotoletta was dipped in besciamella sauce ? , not well cooked and taste. We pulled ourselves together with a good dessert: Tiramisù, tiramigiù with liqueur and zuppa inglese . Food is not the main attraction, but the place has a nice atmosphere, laid back and relaxed, offering an alternative to the traditional pizzeria and restaurants.
Went on a Friday night wasn't so busy, so service was fine...it`s a family restaurant where food is simply delicious and of a great quality but still surprisingly cheap. Had 1 Pizza between 2 for a starter 8/10 1 fish 9/10 1 Steak 9/10 Great Fries 10/10 Best ever eaten) 1x 1/2 carafe housewine 7/10 2x large water 1 espresso we didn't had deserts as we was full total price came €47.00 for all including Coperto... would love to return anytime, restaurant has also a very nice warm atmosphere is nicely decorated.
Stumbled across this last year while in Bologna, went back again that trip and a year later searched the streets (with my very patient girlfriend) trying to find it. I'd told her about this place when I returned home in 2011 with the promise that I'd take her there this year. It was worth it the wait. I fell in love with the porcini mushroom ravioli with garlic oil last time and ordered it again. The waitress recommend the passioni as a second dish which did not disappoint. Pecorino, pear and sage ravioli. My god. House wine was very decent and cheap. The mains were under 10 euro. Antipasti a little under that. The staff are lovely as well. Check it out. We got there bang on opening so there wasnt many people there but that suited us just fine. I'll be back again, hopefully next year!

The informal and popular atmosphere is a relief in the always happy Bolognese catering. prices are on average from the restaurant (before between 10 and 12 euros when I went) and the quality of some dishes to improve (well done by hand, but it was too often and to cut better. ) if the idea is to offer traditional cuisine, the menu could include large absents such as friggione, pastellate vegetables, fried polenta, passersby, the common bread of bologna and/or the crescent instead of the Tuscan staff. next time I hope I can give you more stars!
