Here’s the story: Ignored by waiter, who was in conversation with friends. Interrupted him, asked for a menu. Read the menu, was ignored some more (same conversation with his friends . So I left. He didn’t even look up so this has definitely happened before, and now he doesn’t have to work today. Perfect for him. Bad for the restaurant’s owner and reputation. Ciao Buca San Petronio. A discovery in Bologna, the location is picturesque, cozy and surprising. The service is exceptionally friendly and pleasant. Also ordered a vin santo which was not on the menu. If you really want to taste Bologna, you should not miss this.

As a group of 4, we absolutely enjoyed the dinner here. We found the restaurant by mistake and loved the outdoor atmosphere straight away. We didn't have a reservation, but they prepared a table in a few minutes. We waited a little bit longer to be served, but it was understandable as the restaurant was full. After the order, everything was straightforward and smooth. The food was delicious and I can just recommend this restaurant if you want to have a lovely meal with amazing vibes.
