Super friendly staff, we were greeted with smiles all around. We had a dog with us and they brought water for him right away. Now let's get to the most important part. The FOOD! I had tagliatelle with ragu. A classic dish that is so simple yet incredibly difficult to do well. The egg pasta was thin, fresh and tasty. The ragu, or meat sauce was just perfect. Slow-cooked kbig chunks of prime meat. The portion was abundant and it infused a sense of peace and tranquillity. We had also a sample of local cold cuts and Tigelle that was supreme. THe side dishes that came with ti were numerous and great. We had pesto di strutto pasto made with lard) local cheese squaccherone and several other to spread on the freshly made tigelle. To drink of course we had Lambrusco. The sparking red local wine, made. It is perfect for lunches like this. It is acidic enough to cleanse the fatty food and it goes down easier than CocaCola. Desert was a great apple pie with a dollop of mascarpone cream, so good we had to help ourselves to a second portion. All in All a fantastic expereince

This restaurant gets a WOW! As they say, eat where the locals eat. This is not a tourist spot, you have to go find it, and be sure to make reservations first. A beautiful scenic hilltop restaurant (the drive up has spectacular views) nestled in with a beautiful outdoor seating deck. Rustic, great waitstaff, and excellent food. Nirvana!
Food of good tradition. slightly more expensive than the average, but it is worth it. recommended.
