Elmer's Boise

Absolutely fantastic meal! Food was excellent (potato pancakes, eggs, bacon) and the service was on point. Came from Canada and our first breakfast break was not disappointed! 100% recommended.

We were seated immediately and our waitress was so sweet! We got the 'French toast sandwich ' and the 'Bacon and Tillamook potato cakes ' both were absolutely delicious. Elmer 's is a must visit for a Boise adventure.

I went in a weekday, so it was rather quiet and serene. Immediately, staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was seated and served quickly. My eggs were fluffy, my potatoes were perfectly crispy and my bacon was so flavorful. I was looking for the perfect breakfast spot and I found it.

Elmer?s is what Shoney?s Big Boy wants to be when he grows up. It was recommended to me, as a visitor to Boise, Idaho, as THE breakfast place (open 6:30AM to 2:30 PM) to eat at. I was not disappointed, as my steak and eggs, plus buttermilk biscuit and Northwest Hash Browns were very, very good. The loaded hash browns alone were enough to put you into a happy food coma, plus the orange juice was excellent. Additionally, Adele my waitress was very attentive and polite, even while working multiple tables. Definitely worth a visit if you are ever in Boise.

Great local breakfast spot. Waitress was awesome, service on point and prompt during my visit. Food was delicious. The hash browns were somewhat oily though with a weird non clean oil taste. Chair cushions were really saggy. If your sitting in a booth, you almost need a tug rope to get you out. I?d definitely visit again though.
