Corona Village . - Boise

I got corona village as a juror and at first I thought it was alright. Granted I had only the chips and salsa at that point, and they werent too heavy on colantro like most places are. When I got to the entree. Oh. My. Lordt. Do these guys LOVE their salt. I have never had a salsa Verde be so salty. I tried pouring the salsa over the burrito to tone it down and it was still so salty it was hard to choke it down. If you have had any kind of homemade Mexican food, or like tasting anything but a serious bite of salt, I do not recommend these guys.

Alright hear me out this review is coming all the way from South Carolina now- from someone who used to live in Boise and went here i will say this is hands down the best Mexican food i have EVER had. When we lived in Boise we always hesitated going because of the location but let me tell you boy do i wish they would come here. Back in 2020 when covid hit we discovered corona village and from there on until we moved we have gone here very frequently. When i was pregnant its all i craved, we would go every other day or sometimes twice a day. The portions are huge, the salsa is bomb, the price cannot be beat. The customer service was always amazing weather it was pick up or dine in. My husband and i still crave it and we cannot wait to go visit so we can eat here again we constantly say how we wish we had a corona village here. Also i will add the margaritas are huge and so delicious. Anyone looking for a true authentic Mexican place should try this place, truly a hidden gem in Boise off state st.

A good soup selection here. We enjoyed a chicken tortilla soup and a pazole. The atmosphere has a strong air scent which just seemed a little strong to me. Otherwise all was good.

Excellent service! Waitresses checked in often and kept the chips and salsa full and water fresh and filled! Such good spinach enchiladas as well as large portion sizes!

Best Mexican food ever! Service is top notch with amazing employees.
