Baguette Deli - Boise

I recently ordered the house banh mi to-go, and I must say, I was really disappointed. The sandwich lacked flavor from the start— I wasn't even sure if the pickles were pickled. There was hardly any meat in it, and honestly, I wouldn't mind paying extra for additional meat, mayo, or pate just to enhance the taste. Unfortunately, the sandwich just wasn't good. I might consider giving them another chance in the future, but my enthusiasm has waned, especially since I drove quite a distance for this meal. Please make sure to taste your sandwiches before serving them; it’s disheartening. On a positive note, the cha gio egg rolls and nuoc cham were enjoyable.

I won't be returning to this restaurant again. The food was terrible, and the prices were outrageous—$16 for pho? Who charges that much?

I've tried this place several times, but it always falls short. The sandwiches are overpriced and often seem like they consist mainly of bread. They lack flavor and are drier than the Sahara.

So this is a hard review to post as I loved and hated this place. Service was great so that's a plus and inside the decor was hole in the wall vibe but loved all the bonsai trees. Their PHO is amazing! Lots of toppings and broth is on point: 5 stars. Only downside is its $16.99!!! They also have quite a few Vietnamese sandwiches. I got one, the #1. It was mostly bread which was stale, meat veggie combo was just bad. One of the worst sandwiches I've ever put in my face hole. 1 star. Long story short, go get their PHO and skip the sandos.
