Restaurant Escudo - Boisbriand

We had traveled through some stressful traffic, but after five hours we finally reached out destination, Escudo! This restaurant has great food and a friendly staff. I really enjoyed my first dish of poutine and loved the warm desert! Thank you for making the trip worth it. . .

Ordered half a chicken, there was no skin on the chest. Very good fries, correct chicken but no more, no taste. Sauce cured and very oily, very ordinary salad. Regular service. Too expensive. I don't see any reason to go back.

When you go in, you wouldn't think anything of this place, there are only 3 tables but don't be fooled. We took the family dinner for 4 people which came with a whole chicken, fries and salad, drink and desert. The food was AMAZING...Charcoal chicken is out of this world. We also tried the poutine...ok I'm a poutine freak and i must say that this was a very good poutine...oh and the small poutine can feed 4 people, it's huge. The portions are very big, so bring your appetite! Worth the trip, will be back very soon!

I ended up having dinner there at the last minute last night and I was absolutely amazed by the food. Everything had such nice flavour and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The place is absolutely charming. This will definitely be a new hangout for me. Highly highly recommend it. Who needs to cook dinner when you can so easily pickup something so delicious!
