As for the food: - The papaya salad was just okay. - The chicken wings were quite salty. - The pho also fell short of expectations. - I won’t be ordering the laab again. - The spring rolls were good, though. - The tiger beef was very tough. - I certainly won’t be getting the lad na again. - The coconut fried rice with pineapples reminded me of oatmeal – not enjoyable at all, so I won't order that again. - I’ve decided to skip the bubble tea drinks in the future as well. On a positive note, the server was a nice young man who provided good service.
My husband and I love dining on Pho and other Thai dishes at this restaurant! The food is delicious, affordably priced, and even the water is good. We usually go for dinner, and the price per person is around $1–10. I would rate the food a solid 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3. I highly recommend the Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Pho, Beef Pho, and the Crying Tiger!
The food here used to be really good in 2021 and 2022, but when we visited today, we waited a little while for our order to be cooked fresh, and everything ended up tasting like bland, greasy mush. It used to be one of our favorites, so we’re really disappointed by the drop in quality. Service: Takeout, Meal type: Lunch.
I was initially hesitant to try this restaurant after browsing the menu and reading other reviews. I'm generally not a fan of places that offer a wide range of cuisines—Thai, Chinese, Lao, Vietnamese, and American all under one roof raised a red flag for me. However, my craving for Pho ultimately convinced me to give it a shot, especially to avoid the long drive to Spartanburg or Greenville. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted with smiles. The staff inquired whether we were dining in or taking out, and we were allowed to choose our seating. The menus were provided immediately, along with drinks, and the service was outstanding. I ordered the Chicken Pho, which was absolutely perfect. The Pahd Sa Eww noodles, on the other hand, were a bit dry; but I added some sesame oil when I enjoyed the leftovers for dinner, and that made a difference. The portion sizes were fair, and the prices were very reasonable. This was my first visit, and if my future experiences are as good as this one, I could easily see myself becoming a regular! I give it 5 stars all around—keep up the great work! I look forward to trying many more dishes here in the future. **Vegetarian options:** All dishes offer vegetarian alternatives. **Kid-friendliness:** There is plenty of space for strollers or high chairs inside. **Parking:** No issues finding parking during lunchtime on a Monday around 1:30 PM.
