We are food amantes de la comida and we travel all over the world Airline workers: We went twice to this place and the staff is very pleasant. My OSCAR goes to Chef William Dias. You can say that he... loves what he does. That's why food is so good because with love comes directly from the heart of the chef. We have Lomo Saltado and Alitas llenas de lagostino. For dessert we have a Suspiro Limeno . Very good food. We're here twice on a 2 day trip. Lol.
Great taste, average prices, service is quick and friendly. Only con is the basement tables area, it could get annoyingly noisy at lunch hours, I'll recommend to pick a table at the upper level, or the bar.
I really wanted to like this restaurant because I love Peruvian food and this is really close to my house! Unfortunately the flavors just weren 't quite there. We started with the tequeños our waitress recommended (supposed to be filled with cheese and shrimp) but all...we could taste was fried dough. I noticed that the table next to us had left a couple of them untouched as well. We tried the aji de gallina, chaufa and lomo saltado and while they weren 't terrible, none of us were very excited about our dishes. Something is just missing. The only thing I would go back for might be the ceviche which was really fresh and tasty. Maybe the other dishes are good, you never know!
