La Castana - Bogotá

I loved this place but on my last visit, I found cold americano, old cake and the washroom was out of order...

La Castaña not only has its very well-known “Empanadas”, it also offers a varied and exquisite menu that makes it very difficult to decide what to eat. I highly recommend the bags, a delicious puff pastries with chicken, vegetables or meat ... super delicious...and accompanied by gourmet salad. You can have a natural juice from a variety of Colombian fruits, from “freejoas” to blackberries or “Lulo”.

A really nice place, warmly served. Food is great!, breakfast options are varied and tasting is really good. Atmosphere is nice, pricing is very fair.

The good. Empanadas all tasty. Bread bowl and huevos castana also yummy. Outdoor seating is a nice atmosphere. Needs improvement. Service was super slow.

I loved the boeuf bourguignon it was really good. However as a French person who makes this dish every week I can recommend you to add more Red wine for the sauce because I could not feel it.It would have been more than perfect!!!thx.
