One of my favorite places for a business lunch, good fish and a very good Cazuela de Camarones. Reserve miloja for dessert before you ask the main court, or you can not have one of the best milojas in Bogota. Always reserve!!
It's one of the best places to get fresh sea food in bogota, but watch out, it's expensive. Everything from the menu is really good, I would recommend the fried fish. The one thing I ease my very happy with was the wine menu, too few options.
Been there a few times and just had lunch there again today, best Pargo frito I ever had and the patacones are to die for. Totally worth it.
Darius has more than 30 years of tradition, just by saying that you must admit that is hard to stay in this business without doing a good job. From the entries with fried manioc and Patacones (fried banana in a coin shape) you can see that the main dish and desert will have a hard work to keep the same level of quality. If you decide to order the fried fish, you have to chose between at least four different options of fresh fish that are picked in front of you and prepared in question of minutes. This is something you need to highlight, the service at Darius is really fast, without losing quality, which seems to be the consequence of several years working at the same place for several of the waiters that are around the main saloon. To close the traditional lunch you MUST order the mil hojas puff pastry cake made with a cream that is just PERFECT. they buy it from a local bakery cooked daily what assures the freshness and quality of the product. Sometimes (and I 'm not joking) you must order it once you enter the restaurant, because they have a limited amount of pies, and if you decide to ask in the of your lunch you may not get it, so don 't take the chances!
