Excellent restaurant where a homemade cuisine is proposed with traditional recipes, Ossolane and Piemontesi specialties (gnocchi all'ossolana, or gnocchi di polenta alla toma del Monscera, macugnaghese pasta, polenta concia, the game, moreover are proposed typical meats, cheeses of local alpeggi), there is the possibility to taste wine and beers of the Valli dell'Ossola. Happy homemade desserts! We had lunch in a wonderful covered terrace, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Bognanco valley and the Ossolana valley! We enjoyed ravioli butter and sage, a tunaed calf with spinach and one with boiled potatoes, two excellent Fiocca (typical sweet ossolano), I also savored an excellent lively rose. When I'm in Val Bognanco I'm always at least one night from Cecilia. there are always the menus traditional dishes, with some news. The rustic appetizer is a must, such as macugnaghese pasta or alpigiano. sweets are also homemade. The portions are abundant and the value for money is great. also recommended aperitif in the new outdoor veranda. It's a well-established appointment for me.
