The Bevy Boerne, A Doubletree By Hilton

My stay at the Bevy was very nice. The lobby and bar area were very nicely furnished and I really enjoyed sitting in the other bar drinking coffee and reading peacefully. It was all beautiful and comfortable, the people working there were friendly and nice, and I don't think anyone else in my group had any issues either. The food at the breakfast buffet they catered tasted good and we went back for seconds.The room was clean and in good order, so I had no issues in there either.This is just down the street from a well known farmer's market, HEB, WalMart, and a whole slew of unique restaurants that are sure to please your tastebuds. You'll find many antiques, boutiques, other small shops, car and other shows, Wild Game Fundraising Dinners, at least one local German old-town band, the Kendall County Fair, and many other experiences. It's quite the retreat/conference weekend and this was a good hotel to be in for that.Overall it was a relaxing experience and I'd be happy to go back.Rooms: The bedroom and bathroom were clean and in good order, as were the conference room and other areas.Nearby activities: This is just down the street from a well known farmer's market, HEB, WalMart, and a whole slew of different ethnic restaurants that are sure to please your tastebuds. My husband and I had a great experience at The Bevy Hotel Boerne and will stay here the next time we are in town. Staff was friendly across the board. The fresh cookie upon check-in was a nice touch. The room was lovely and clean. Our room was one with a walk-in shower which is what we prefer. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the shower are appreciated. Plush towels, comfortable bed and pillows all made for an enjoyable stay. Thank you for having real glasses for guests. Loved the bathroom lighting too. We did have to request our towels be replenished daily and we had to request that our bed we made and our trash taken out each day. I would suggest that guests be asked at check-in their preference for room service of linens and towels. I know “all” the hotels are trending to daily room service only upon request, but it is annoying to have to make these requests each day. I had dinner and drinks my first night there, and the chicken salad was delicious, the Old-fashioned very good, and the restaurant staff who served me, very kind and accommodating. On day two, the bartender approached me to see if I wanted to order anything. She was kind and professional, and made great margaritas. My husband and I were disappointed that on Thursday night the bar closed at 10 p.m. There were a lot of people still drinking in the bar/lobby at 10, so it would have been nice if the hours were adjusted accordingly. Overall though, the Bevy offered beautiful accommodations and professional friendly service. We will be back.

This is a beautiful hotel with a hill country feel. The wait for breakfast was long, and we never received housekeeping service even after requesting it as instructed. After mentioning this to the front desk at checkout, I was credited for one night stay. Despite being short staffed, everyone working provided excellent customer service.

I had a great experience at the Bevy in Boerne. The staff was inviting and made my check-in and check-out experience seamless. This was a business trip in which my new company had made a booking and paid for me. Usually this creates a little hiccup with other hotels, but the Bevy was ready for my arrival and had no issues getting me into my room. The location was convenient to my needs in Boerne and I plan on staying there for all my future trips to my company's Boerne office.

Spotless room and courteous staff. The courtesy cookies when checking in are to die for! There was good live music the night before we left. Dinner was very good and affordable. Family was very pleased.
