China Bowl - Boerne

The Chinese food at this restaurant is delightful. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is friendly. I appreciated the mix of American and Chinese music playing. The owner, a young man, even helps his waitresses clear tables, which is not something you see often. I believe this place will definitely be successful in the years to come!

This restaurant may have been decent in the past (I can't understand how anyone would give it 5 stars), but my recent experience was terrible. I ordered the pan-fried noodles and they were absolutely gross. The noodles had an odd taste, looked undercooked, and did not resemble noodles in any way. My husband mentioned there was imitation crab in the dish and joked about how it was definitely imitation. Overall, the entire plate was inedible. The chicken lettuce wraps were questionable if they even contained chicken, and the fried rice was bland. I have no intention of eating here again, even if it was offered for free.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I found the food to be satisfactory and the prices to be affordable. We chose to eat here because they stay open later than many other places. However, when we arrived and were seated, there was a bit of a wait before we were served. Despite the fact that there were only 2 other tables with customers, employees were seen sitting at a back table eating, but it was close to closing time. Our food took a while to come out, but when it did, the portions were decent, the food was hot, and it was presented in an visually appealing manner. Overall, the experience was decent, although the service could have been better. The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable for a dinner at a restaurant. I would come back to try more items on the menu.

I came here last minute hoping to score some good Chinese food. I should?ve went home and made my own. The orange chicken wasn?t orange and didn?t taste like orange chicken, the spring roll and Rangoon was crispy like it was cooked days earlier, and the hot& sour soup tasted off and had a gravy like texture I never seen before! Literally the worst Chinese food ever and I rarelyindulge so this was such a disappointment. Please learn how to cook and properly present food

Always a great place to eat. More food then I can eat. I take home leftovers.
