Przekaż informację zwrotnąAfter my recently quite positive experience with a surprisingly quiet café in the otherwise violent Sindelfinger shopping temple Breuningerland, I now run a bit more openly through the Böblinger counterpart Mercaden. To date, my visit to the rather unsightly clinker building opposite the Böblinger station was limited to the essential. Get in and out. But the Mercaden has 15 gastronomic plants, spread over 3 floors. The advantage: just a few steps from the train station, from the bus station, from the medical center Medicum, from the post office and the pedestrian zone Bahnhofstrasse, all the paths inevitably pass here. Admittedly, the Simitci Café is not so random as it is located on the upper floor, but directly at the escalators. A generous, well-lit counter with baked goods shields the somewhat darker café from the transit traffic. To be marvelled is quite a lot of foliage pastry and filter pastries, apparently all very hearty. You know Börek and Sesamkringel. Everything else looks very appetizing at least visually. I remember the café was always quite well visited. When I come by this time – one day before three kings and at 2:00 in the afternoon – it is human. Although there are still holidays. These effects may be attributed to the current restrictions on a gastronomy visit. Even I'm holding back. The guest room is simply but harmoniously furnished: with foursomes of light wood and chairs with dark, comfortable shell seats. The richly illustrated menu features a variety of breakfast variations, all very hearty, with many small components arranged on individual peels. At first glance, I discover arrangements such as “land breakfast for 3 people” (39.90 euros or “Agaic land breakfast for 2 people” (23.90 euros), with a lot of olives, sheep cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, beans, laid in and sauces, pastries in any shape. Huge quantities, colourful, best suited for friends and families. In addition, homemade daily soups, omelet, toast and wraps with supplements are offered. There is also a variety of lunch menus: from Tortellini to Hamburger to Zürcher Geschnetzeltem and Frikadellen in the Sesamringnest. All a bit multikulti and crossover. Most of it would, however, – to close the photos – meet my taste. Is the kitchen even occupied at the moment? After a long time I decided to use the take-away offer. The service lady looks routined, versed, cool, maybe also a bit bored (in view of the lack of guest appearance? . In small coffee (2,50 Euros, there is nothing to say, but nothing to say. For this, I take 1x Kolbörek (3,00 Euro ), a double bar made of leaf dough, very spicy and habhaft with spinach (and possibly also minced meat. Saturates immensely and also meets my taste. You can pay cash or with a card – and the receipt itself can be taken from a small printer. The contact can thus be limited to a minimum. If you use the elevators of the house, you can also reach the Simitci Café on the upper floor barrier-free. Only Manko: the central toilet system of the house is paid, for that of course also well maintained and very proper. A huge, multi-storey, also paid car park is one of the Mercadians. A shopping or gastronomy visit favors the parking fee. Especially the varied breakfast offers of the Simitci Café make me feel good. But who knows when the conditions for a visit become more moderate? I certainly use the take-away offer again, because the expenses in the counter simply seem too appetizing.
