It's a lovely hotel. We stayed in a suite. It was very comfortable. Hotel staff was very helpful. I would recommend it to everyone. Food was very tasty
I would like to share my experience about Royal Residency and I advice it is good hotel with good services.
I don't understand some of the reviews here. I think they are from other competing restaurants, or who knows, I think Indian travelers often review pretty harshly for some reason, but I have spent years in India and this was one of the best India restaurant meals I've ever had. Sure, the ambiance is whatever, but you are in Bodhgaya, Bihar people. Get real. This is pretty backwater, but they are making strides. That being said, I went with some local friends for a treat, and we were all blown away. I'll say it again. The meal was 100% one of the best Indian meals I've had outside of home cooked meals. Everything was top notch. We were a party of four and ordered a large sampling of dishes, and everything delivered. The price was not even high for the quality. A little more expensive than other local restaurants, but not by much. A friend dining with me runs an international food blog and is getting connected with the chef to learn dishes. It was that good. Try it out!
Lots of Budh Tourists from outside India.Interesting to see them. Always pray before eating stay in groups.
