Hotel Tathagat International Restaurant

We with family visited place of Budha and decided to have lunch at this so called nice restaurant as options were very limited in city due to holiday time (24th March). There was no responce from Manager/Captain of restaurant. We choosen to seat on a dirty table whcih was just over but even after 25 minutes no one bothered to come and clean the table. We felt that they were not so happy to have us a guest coz it may be a closing time of outlet/less of staff there. We waited, requested them to do so but in failure of recieving responce mooved back from the place and been to other restaurant. It was a pathetic restaurant and will never turn to this place again

We had lunch at hotel tathagat in February when we visited Gaya in february. They prepared our request very quickly, quite a sumptuous vegetarian meal. Staff were courteous kind and offered help in choosing the meals as the menu though in English needed some explanations about spices and chilli content.

Nice arrangement of the restaurant, seating arrangements and the space. Breakfast is really good but lunch was not that nice. Worth for the price

It's been the same over the years without refurbishing or improvement. The only factor is convenient and very close to the maha Bodhi temple.

Very nice place and very good menu and service. Stuff was very kind and gentle. The waiter was vary communicative and friendly. He explained the different kind of food and showed us various ingredients new to us. The price is fare and food and drink was excellent.
