We stayed at Korbmacherhaus, a couple of blocks from the bakery. A wonderful lady named Kasten helped us with the hotel room we rented for a couple of days. She and her husband own the bakery. The room we stayed at is clean, spacious. It's really an apartment, and was very affordable and excellent. As part of our deal, we at at Cafe Cannelle, Kasten's cafe. Our breakfast was wonderful! We had coffee, cheese, rolls, cold cuts, and fruit. The cafe is very charming and clean. The town itself is very quaint. We enjoyed going into the old churches and the Munchausen Museum.
We have visited here on a couple of occasions and have always found the cafe to be very nice and friendly, and their food is excellent. It's just as you go into Bodenwerder (the home of Baron Munchausen !! and it shows as you walk through this quaint old town, this cafe brings a little bit of sanity to the afternoon visit. (LOL The town, and more specifically the cafe is a must visit.
