Drakes Sonoma Coast - BODEGA BAY

I specifically requested a window table when I made our reservation. When we arrived, 5 minutes early, we were told the window table was given to another couple who'd arrived just prior. The Hostess explained a table cannot be guaranteed. Now, this Restaurant required a credit card to make this reservation, the reservation was confirmed the afternoon of, and the table requested would have been available when we arrived 5 minutes early, but was instead given to someone else minutes before. So don't bother with a reservation. Also the kitchen was extremely slow. However, Ryan and Jose, our wait persons, were terrific.

We had a lovely dinner here with the view of the bay. We watched the sunset, dinner was delicious. We had the clams with the yummiest toast ever. And the red pepper soup. We weren't very hungry, but we had an enjoyable evening . Our waitress was lovely. The wine was great. The view was the best. The place was cozy and comfortable. We followed dinner with dessert outside by the fire pits. The perfect evening.

Amazing views, impeccable service that I would expect from a 5 Star restaurant. Food was cooked perfectly.

Breakfast wasn 't as memorable as dinner, but we enjoyed our two meals here while on property at the lodge. Highly recommend the deconstructed Sweet Potato Pie dessert, that was unbelievably delicious.

Had My 40th birthday Celebration at Drakes, absolutely wonderful, service was outstanding and food was delicious.
