My high-marriage waited for the amuse over an hour, made me feel bad, but fortunately it was not confirmed, because now it was hit. The Amuse Bruschetta slightly softens, tomatoes and onion cubes with a good garlic note. The appetizers finally arrived. Melons and Parma ham in a neat part, almost tired, the antipasti sufficient that we could eat three of them. Vegetables, olives, mozzarella, salami and ham in very good quality. The main courts came right after. We wouldn't have wanted a break. Satisfaction all around, neat portions, the Steak medium rarely as desired. My noodles tasty with fresh vegetables still light bite-resistant, downstream Parmesan came fast, a miracle, carved and in a neat part. On the other hand, our ordered espresso did not come back, but probably landed on every neighboring table. The supplied were good, strong with Crema, came with an additional glass of water and went into the house as an excuse. Conclusion and assessment: “good trained maids” I have not noticed, here much went wrong, several times the dishes and drinks were incorrectly assigned to the neighboring tables, sometimes even went to other tables, food came at the tables at different times instead of at the same time, probably a failure of the kitchen, and the lack of time management. They also noticed a certain inability to serve. But the friendliness of the young girls was facing. If you asked if it tasted, you were very busy. Yet only one star – perhaps the owner should really train. The food is quite good, the card is something too confusing and too extensive for my taste. The Bruschetta was able to improve, my noodle dish succeeded and the others were also satisfied. The antipasti was okay. All in all 3 4 stars I complete through the missing kitchen management. The ambience: much too tight, you constantly pushed with the chairs of the tables behind one and, if you wanted to get up, you had to get out. In addition, quite loud, also sound amplified by loud music. On the way to the toilet you also came past some laid-out stuff, empty cartons. Improved, 2 stars. Cleanliness accordingly at best ok 3 stars. The price performance forged, I found it a bit ambitious for pasta dishes, but given the portion size okay. Since I am rarely in Bochum, there will probably be no second chance to revise my opinion. Too bad I would have liked another sound of a very interesting afternoon.

I was here with a very large group but it was still a good experience, which is not always in smaller restaurants. The service was very good and as was the food, I especially liked the antipasto misto, I only had a bit of the pasta from someone else because I am more of a fan of things like antipasti. The restaurant has a very rustic look and is cozy. It is a good place to start the evening before going into the “Bermuda Triangle” or going to the Schauspielhaus.
Viva la Mamma- a pasta restaurant near Bochum Bermuda-3-Eck, when u see the bridge at the end of central street of the 3-eck, opposite to the NEW front door of the Indian restaurant- "Taj Mahal". (Yet, google the place before setting-off ;) It is a nicely feathered restaurant~ cozy in a not-too-big size. Anti-pasta and wine is good good in general ;) And I like the Shrimp black noddle (Schwarzen Nuddle, No.12) the most! It once became my must-order dish ;D However, there is one big concern regarding eating in this restaurant- TIME issue. It would not be a big problem if you are 2-3 persons. But once the number of customers are bigger, especially for a group of more than 10 persons, then it can be something "Katastrophe"! Waiting more than 40 mins-1.5 hour seems not too rare. So be prepared. Try there if you are not too hurry for anywhere else, or if you have a relax date or friends chat-chat- night, it can be a very nice place to head to. Enjoy~
I'm a local, so believe me, you will hardly find better Italian restaurants in Bochum. You can't get any pizza here, but you'll find a good variety of pasta dishes, starters and desserts. At first, I recommend to book a table in advance on Friday and Saturday evenings. You can do that online on their website. The service is attentive and fast for German restaurants, but if every table is occupied, you may have to wait for your main course for an hour (which is normal in this country!). Nevertheless, every guest gets a "Greeting from the kitchen" - tasty bruschetta with tomatoes, basil and onions as well as a couple of parma ham. I love it!
