When you consider the rubbish they serve in British motorway service stations, the Spanish are SOOOOO lucky. The freshly made tortilla was just superb. An array of baked on site cakes, and freshly ground coffee, all served by polite and pleasant staff. Also worth mentioning how cheap it all is by comparison with the rip off prices we get charged in the UK.

We were travelling to Bilbao and needed a stop for coffee. Saw this place and at first not sure what to make of it! We went inside and were totally surprised by the quaint restaurant. People were eating breakfast and lots of people arriving for breakfast. There is an antiquee shop as well. There are apartments which are described in the brochure as 18 comfortable little houses with gardens and streets for a walk. We shall always remember this unexpected stop for good reasons.

We ordered two sandwiches, thinking they were more appetizer portion, but they were not, they were big. (Attribute to our language barriers. Tuna and red pepper and jamon sandwiches. Very cute bar area and a really cute retail store. All very quaint.

100% recommended, my experience was good, all good place and very clean

It's worth taking a stroll through the restaurant store, and even the bathrooms. a moeo of the anachronistic unique in the road restaurants, not being of cañí or rural aesthetics.
