Mario's Osteria - Boca Raton

The food and service, particularly from Richie, were excellent. However, the atmosphere was a bit too loud for my liking. We tried the steak, pasta with clams in white sauce, and pasta with beans and greens, all of which were delicious. The garlic bread was addictive!

For starters, we ordered the Crispy Calamari, which can also be prepared in a Fra Diavolo or grilled style. For our main courses, we chose the Fedelini Clams and Rigatoni Vodka. The calamari was excellent, and while the Rigatoni was good, the Fedelini fell short of what one would expect from such an establishment. It was rather bland, lacking the expected garlic flavor and completely missing parsley. For dessert, we indulged in the Tiramisu, which was delightful, striking a perfect balance of creamy mascarpone cheese with just the right amount of espresso. Although we had high expectations for the food, this visit did not quite meet them. However, the dessert was impressive and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the restaurant, so we plan to return to explore more dishes from their extensive menu.

The hostess was not very welcoming, and the waiter appeared tired and unhelpful when I inquired about the food. I ordered the calamari, which was not as crispy as I had hoped. I had to ask the waiter to bring out the dish. The salad also fell short of my expectations. However, the dark chocolate cake was delicious. Overall, the waiting staff were not very attentive to customers' needs.

Nice food and great selection on the menu. I chose the seafood pasta but was quite jealous when I saw the amazing lasagna my colleagues had! Great service and comfortable environment.

The food was good. We really enjoyed the antipasto plate it was loaded with our favorite charcuterie. The grilled calamari was very tender and cooked perfectly.The sunday sauce was very thin and everything else was just ok. The atmosphere was nice the wait staff was a bit slow.
