Over the past 12 months I have dined there on three occasions and each occasion the level of my disappointment has escalated. On my recent visit it took one and a quarter hours to be served our main course. One of the meals on the menu was unavailable because they didn't have the ingredients. The excuse was they weren't expecting so many people (there were eleven customers) When the meals arrived one was wrong and they had to go back and start again which mean't that three of us had finished our meal by the time their meal arrived. The standard of the meals were poor given the length of time taken to prepare them. Sadly we won't be back even though we love location.
Up a long and dusty track (one that we'd parked our camper van at the bottom of in case we couldn't turn it round at the top) you'll find a Winery with some very welcoming staff. There were excellent views across the valley, we sat and sampled a few wines, they were ok, but I'm no expect, I prefer the brewery next door. But my wife, well she is an expert, it wasn't her thing apparently, I didn't realise she was so choosy when wine was concerned but it seems she is. Nice place though, friendly staff, shame about the walk up the hill to get there but if you drive up like most normal folk you'll be fine.
What A Great little find , not the easiest place to find , due to the business at the front of the property doing its best to block the shared road ..... but if you can make the effort to drive just 200 meters up the dirt Rd , you will have a nice view to look at .. Unfortunately the only draw back to this great little find .. is the food .. very basic and nothing to brag about .. but coffee and cake or the cheese platter which did look top notch . Would take me back for a 2nd visit .
Very friendly service and a lovely lunch menu. All our dietary needs were catered for with no fuss and the food was delicious. Definitely a hidden gem. We will be back!
After a very friendly welcome, we were shown to our table with a great view over the green paddocks to the Tilligerry Peninsula. We enjoyed a glass of local wine with our meal. We were disappointed there was only limited choice for a vegetarian meal.
