The Dining Room at Eganridge

Service was slow due to a kitchen issue, staff handled it well provided free apetizer and desert. food was good.

Have been twice to this restaurant (Dec 2016 & March 2017), delicious both visits. I especially recommend the Trout.

Our group recently had dinner at the Eganridge Inn and it was decidedly a mixed experience. The service was unbelievably slow - dinner took almost three hours to complete - and the food mediocre at best (the tapas plate was uninspiring and the pork tenderloin dry). The evening's saviour was the inn's signature butter tart. This dish was heaven - a rich butter tart encased in perfect pastry and topped with Kawartha dairy vanilla ice cream. It alone is worth a visit!The service was friendly if not fast but the wine list was way overpriced for rather mediocre wines.

The duck was very tasty, I quite enjoyed it but the portions of food were very small - duck, salad, veggies etc. and was expensive for the small portion size

The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. There is a restaurant on site so that is convenient.
