Breakfast was the normal hot and cold offerings. Check in was a breeze. The hotel staff was very courteous.
Stayed at this hotel over the weekend for a basketball tournament and my stay was wonderful. Iyonna and Jaime provided excellent customer service during the check-in process. The laminated floors give the hotel a fresh look and each room was clean, no carpet so there was no dirt or dust bunnies to worry about. The staff was very friendly even the staff at the on-site restaurant. The lobster Nachos were amazing. The only thing that would be nice, is a larger indoor pool, considering the current one is extremely tiny. However, I'll take the small pool because the cleanliness and friendly staff outweigh the pool issue.
The room itself was fine. We especially liked the laminate floors much cleaner than carpet. The shower did not have a door (by design), so the bathroom floor ended up wet. The biggest dissatisfier was the noise. We could hear people above us walking and toilets flushing. The heater was really loud. But the thing that really ground my gears? We were awoken both mornings of our 2 night stay by trash trucks emptying the dumpsters day 1 at 5:30 am, day 2 at 5 am. I contacted Wyndham about it; their response was a canned corporate statement that basically told me to go pound sand.
Excellent bed, perfect service and genuinely nice people working for the hotel. The selected catering menu was deliciously prepared. The only slight issue was the timeliness of service in the hotel bar. Not the tenders fault when there are 100 people that descend on the place at once.
We enjoyed going here very much. Great servers, just not enough of them to go around when it's busy.Food: 4/5
