La Casita - Bluffton

The restaurant is called La Tampiqueña, and the food is fantastic. If you're in search of authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the spot to visit. I noticed that I was the only non-Latino customer there, which speaks to its authenticity. They serve Pozole every Thursday, and on weekends, they offer additional soups like Menudo and Chivo. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the food definitely exceeded my expectations.

Absolutely the best Latin cuisine in Beaufort County! If you enjoy coconut, you have to try the coconut water. The owner is incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home as you enjoy your meal. I visit with my family every week and plan to keep it up. Highly recommend!

Don’t understand how this place got 1-3 star reviews. Must be gringos that don’t know great Mexican food. I stopped by with a friend just for beers and then the homemade chips and salsa cam and I new I had to order something. The food was phenomenal! Like a grandmother cooked it for you and they have specials they run during the week. This is one of two places I have found in the area that has perfect Mexican food. I’ll be bringing my mom this weekend. My new best spot for great food! And... the service was awesome!
