Sue, the owner, is fantastic! I had a delicious yellow perch fish and chips combo, while my family enjoyed the poutine with coleslaw, paired with an ice-cold drink from their refrigerator. I noticed others were ordering their fish and chips, and many were also taking home fresh and frozen seafood for their family meals. As of the end of October 2022, they have closed on Mondays and Tuesdays due to staffing shortages, but the market is open year-round from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with takeout available every day from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and say hello. Absolutely delicious fish! I started eating fish because of Sue! They smoke their own fish and prepare their own clam chowder. This is the best place for fantastic fish!

Excellent! The fish bites are definitely the way to go – they offer small pieces of various types. The clam chowder was also exceptional. Even my sister-in-law enjoyed it! I’ll be back next time I'm in town.

My family and I recently made a long weekend trip to Lake Huron. Since I have no idea how to fish, I decided to see if there are any local restaurants serving local fish. The blue was the perfect place to go! They even have a family contract with a variety of fried fish and a ton of fries. Service was friendly and efficient. Our meal was not quite ready when I arrived to pick up, so they offered to bring it to my car (probably to avoid constipation in the branch with COVID restrictions, but still a nice note). The food was fresh and delicious. We wouldn't hesitate to return if we were back in the area!

Out of the Blue is great. Sue and her staff are very friendly. They have a wide range of fish available for take out fish and chips. Their smoked fish is amazing and they have regular fresh fish on a daily basis. Highly recommend!
