Impeccable dining experience of a caliber we have not experienced in several years of dining in KC. Katrin offered really gentle and patient service for our large family including our children and gave lovely recommendations on drinks and wine. Dishes came out at a great cadence and we were quite lucky that white asparagus were in season. Each dish including appetizers and entrees was immaculate. The restaurant itself was a little dim so two of our party had to use the lights on the phone to view the menu, but otherwise we adored the low light. Each table was very private even amid a busy atmosphere and the decor was very classy and comfortable. We felt very well taken care of. We will be back. Dietary restrictions: They made nice substitutions to accommodate dietary restrictions. Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to children

Modern German menu. Changes quarterly. Specialty event menus as well. Food, service and bar are all excellent.

Absolutely awesome. But very expensive. The chef has won several awards and been in magazines. It's a must try once. My asian wife likes it but hates German food. I don't know how that works. Good place for a romantic date. It's the only place I know of around here that has wild boar to eat. Parking: Parking not great. In a busy nice part of town. I don't remember the exact street.

One of my favorite restaurants in KC. It is German inspired new American type of food. I have been here multiple times now and have loved every visit. The food is delicious, and the service is always nice and friendly. Highly recommend.
