Buckhorn Family - Bloomsburg

The Buckhorn has the best breakfast on earth! You HAVE to try the giant ham steak. This thing is as big as a large plate and at least an inch thick; two of us ate it, and even took home a little bit for the cats! The potatoes were large portions. My bacon and cheese omelette was stuffed with cheese, just the way I like it; and more bacon than I have ever seen in an omelette. They also serve a nice thick kind of bread for your toast; it has a wonderful texture and a great taste. My husband had white and I had rye. We often go for the Dinner Buffet. It varies, but is usually quite good. Thursday night is Steak Night at the Buffet, and the strips of steak are awesome, cooked well done which is the only way I would ever eat it. Nice salad bar selections, two soups. The only problem I have seen with the Buffet is that sometimes there are no rolls or bread; and you can never find any butter. They need to correct this. For a truck stop, the coffee is very watered-down; they need to get it back up to a nice strong quality, and keep it there. One of our favorite local locations; I highly recommend it!

Service was very slow. Meat was way over cooked and when my meal finally came out it was cold. Was a great place years ago. I will be avoiding this place from now on

Food was just ok, not a lot for the money. I Paid 8.99 for a 8 cheesesteak with fry. Sandwich was dry, my son had a dbl. cheeseburger that was good, was $11. Service was very slow, took 35 min for our food after ordering. Seems they cater to the buffet, which looked very ordinary for the $15 price. Too many options in this area to go here.

Not the best place by far but comfort food is definitely the star here. the wait staff is fantastic Nd the portions are bug enough to fill and tasty enough to feel good about plus on every meal it's free soup and salad bar. I had the steak baked potato and garlic toast and it was perfect. the steak grilled fantastically and juicy with the perfect rarity the potato big enough to feed 3 of me and the Wisconsin cheese soup! oh the soup! the prices were great too. I definitely will come back next time through

Everything was awful. I'm not a picky person but this was just God awful. The service. The food. Awful. The pancakes were the worst thing I've ever tried to eat.
