Von Hanson's Meats - Bloomington

I occasionally stop by this place to pick up some grilling steaks and brats. I also grab a few pig ears for my dogs at home. A couple of years ago, the staff member who helped me asked about my dogs, and when I mentioned that two of them are small breeds, he kindly offered to cut the pig ears into smaller sizes so they could enjoy them. They do this every time I buy steaks and pig ears, and while it may seem like a small gesture, it means a lot to me. I really appreciated it because I wasn't looking forward to using a vice grip and tin snips to cut them myself. Thank you again, VH! This is yet another reason I go out of my way to shop here.

Excellent service and a wide variety of meats, along with many other food choices.

I stopped by to take a look while traveling and came across the Smoked Salmon Spread. I decided to give it a try, despite never having heard of it before. Wow, it was absolutely delicious!

This place is a destination for us when we visit our son , the cattleman's beef pack is my favorite bundle.We also like the brats for summer grilling .We all love this place .
