Tradewinds - Bloomington

So I read the reviews about this place...and I went anyway. I'm glad I did! The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was hot and delicious. My wife ordered the nachos, and they were awesome. I had the catfish which was also very good. Add a drink special and a view of Monroe Lake, and you have the makings of a memorable lunch. I think the other reviews don't give this place the credit it deserves. It is, after all, a hotel restaurant/lounge (which in my mind implies a certain level of mediocrity), but it exceeded my expectations. We'd go back. ..by the way, I should add that we ate lunch here during a holiday weekend where there were TONS of people here. YMMV.

Bre and Blake helped us this morning. They seem to care about us a customers which isn't always common. Blake made a great suggestion after fixing and issue with our Orange Juice. Food was great, service was great! Keep it up kids

Read the reviews and was a bit hesitant about trying out the place. Much to our surprise we found really good food, good service and a real nice view. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. Really good lunch experience.

Kind of blown away to be honest. A little over priced so lacking on value but everything we ordered was delicious! Kids and wife really enjoyed the fish and chips and burger. I enjoyed the buffalo flat bread, really good for what it is! As far as value you pay for the location! Also shout out to the staff good service!

Family dinner with several items ordered from the menu, everyone loved their meal. My favorite is the pulled pork nachos! Wine and cocktail prices are surprisingly reasonable. Perfect water views
