Steves Pool And Pub - Bloomington

Have been here on very few occasions, but have always been pleased with the tables and the staff. I came at 3:30 on Sunday it appears the hours have changed may be due to Covid, so they do not open at 2p like it says on the website, might want to call before you waste your gas driving all the way here.

Six of us went here last night. They have beer, wine coolers and soft drinks. The manager says they applied for liquor license but not yet approved. It was Karaoke night. Several locals were singing. Had about 6 tables. Tables were in decent shape. Small bar sitting as well. Place was not super clean but the staff was very friendly and was willing to accommodate us any way possible. You could tell her heart was in it and wanted her customers happy. They kept the smoking go outside which was nice. Has carpet floors which were amazingly clean for a pool hall. We didn't have any food and didn't know what type of food was available.

They have really nice tables all diamonds But a drunk laying on bench outside at 5 pm wasn't inviting. Stayed for 6 racks nobody else there. Who appeared to be owner sat at bar with 2 friends and bar tender. None of them acknowledge I was even there.

Steve's Place changed my perception of a pool hall. All ages can be in the pool room and 21 and over in the bar area. It's clean with new carpet and nice pool tables. The staff is friendly and the beer is cold. Good place to stop in with the family or on a date night for entertainment that won't break the bank. Its located just off 37 and close to major restaurants. Would definitely recommend stopping in after dinner one evening to check it out. You won't be disappointed with the friendly atmosphere.
