Lil Beaver Brewery - Bloomington

We love Lil Beaver! It is such a fun and relaxed local place. Great for a date night or a bigger group get-together. All the appetizers are delicious. So many drinks to try too!

Great food, fabulous pickle chips and A wide selection of beers.

Their pink lemonade seltzer was amazing! And the positives ended there. Felt really weird to place my own order on my phone and be requested to leave a tip before even meeting a single worker and pay for my meal before being served in a more sit down setting. Seat yourself, scan the menu, place order and tip. Like who and what am I tipping. Minimum programmed tip is 18%. Our food was brought and then we were instructed where we could go to get our own silverware and condiments. I tipped someone who couldn’t even bring me silverware? The Cesar salad for $13 was incredibly small- like a side salad, not a meal. The Cobb salad was decent however the ranch was pretty flavorless. They forgot the chicken on the Cesar and we had to ask twice to get it. We also had to ask twice to get a to go box. We were never once checked on to see how food was. The atmosphere was great, but enough negatives to not make me inclined to visit again- most notably tipping someone for literally setting food on our table and walking away.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile, was sadly disappointed.Waited at the counter for over 10 minutes with no greeting even though the sign said wait to be seated, ended up sitting outside with open seating so we could get food faster.The lettuce was wilted, the fries were soggy. The fried chicken sandwich was as if I was eating at fast food restaurant. The food looked great though!

Stopped in here after a college visit with my daughter. I got a flight of beers: PDR lager, Wainbow pale ale, Dad Jokes IPA, and California Beavin IPA. They were all good, but I really loved the Dad Jokes IPA. The food we got, beef nachos and a cubano panini, was tasty and well paired with the beers. Nice ambiance at the brewery, very kid friendly, TVs for sports viewing. Grabbed a four-pack to take home. Definitely plan to stop in again when in the area.
