Kabob's Indian Grill - Bloomington

The flavors here surpass those of most competitors! This is one of the best Indian restaurants in town, and it remains outstanding regardless of how many owners have come and gone. This little gem, tucked away, is simply amazing. From the curry to the dosa and biryani, everything has a unique taste. The garlic naan is both soft and crispy, while the mango lassi is incredibly fresh. Although India is unmatched, this place offers a delightful taste of it!

My husband and I visited this restaurant for Diwali lunch, and I've been eager to try it for quite some time. It did not disappoint! I wanted to order the Thali, but I found out they only serve it on weekends, even though their menu suggests otherwise for weekdays. Instead, we ordered the masala dosa, plain dosa, and Kadai goat. Both dosas, accompanied by the coconut and tomato chutneys and sambar, were fantastic—just like how my mom used to make them. However, the Kadai goat was a bit disappointing; it had too much tomato, and the goat fat didn't seem properly rendered. I decided to take it home and plan to add some of my own spices and let it stew longer. Overall, I definitely recommend this place, and I look forward to returning. They have a wonderful selection of South Indian dishes on their menu!

We visited Kabobs today for brunch, and I must say the food was absolutely delicious! There’s been a change in management since our last visit, and the improvement in the flavor of the dishes is significant. If you’re craving South Indian cuisine like dosa and idli, you should definitely check out Kabobs—you won't be disappointed. I also enjoyed some filter coffee for the first time in ages, and it felt like a warm hug!

This place has some Indian dishes I have never heard of or tried. Man, this place was a fresh remix on Indian food. Test it out if you want something different
