Braun's Tavern - Bloomfield

We visited for a late Saturday lunch and were thoroughly impressed. One of the owners greeted us warmly and engaged us in a lovely conversation, sharing more about himself and providing excellent food recommendations. If you're a meat lover, the carving served with beet and apple salad in a dill sauce was absolutely delicious. For vegetarians, I highly recommend the fettuccine and the zucchini and tomato salad, both of which offered incredible flavor combinations. We are definitely looking forward to returning soon to explore their dinner menu!

The Half Pan Seared Chicken was delicious, accompanied by a delightful strawberry mix. The only downside was the wait for our food; it's important to have engaging conversation topics to pass the time. The appetizers took about 35 minutes to arrive.

I love the atmosphere and hospitality of this place. The food is delicious and the cook is quite creative with its combinations. The vibe is covered, a beautiful place for an afternoon drink or a date night. I only have 4 stars because they have recently changed their overall theme/concept and I need a few more visits there before they give it the full 5 stars. It's a place you want to get back for more!

I had the pleasure of trying their exceptional foie gras, which was beautifully complemented by a refined gray salt. Next, I enjoyed the triple cream brie with bacon and spicy apricot jam, served alongside delicate yet crispy slices of baguette. There was so much more on the menu, including an array of burgers, chicken dishes, and an impressive selection of desserts that I can’t wait to sample on my next visit. As for the cocktails, I’m almost at a loss for words! We indulged in some of the bartender’s recommendations, as well as some creative substitutions for those with particular spirit preferences. They even provided fantastic wine pairings for every course. From the hostess to the bartender and waitstaff, everyone was attentive and made the experience unforgettable. I look forward to becoming a regular at Satis!

This old favorite has been renovated to beyond it's original beauty. The bar itself is magnificent and the decor of the rest of the dining room is beyond compare! The Chef has managed to find an amazing balance between fine dining and incredible tavern fare. Awesome and interesting appetizers, homemade pasta, burgers, fine seafood and wonderful gourmet entrees . Interesting cocktails and nice selection of wines. You can't go wrong here!!
