Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe stopped in for wine tasting but when we saw the restaurant we decided to stay for lunch. They had an oyster bar set up so we decided to try some. When we placed the order with the waitress she told us we had to go up and order the oysters separately because it's not part of the winery. Weird. Fine went up and got oysters and ordered the rest with the waitress. Oysters were very good, delicious. Wine was good, tomato soup was tasty. Roast beef sandwich was a bit dry and the chicken bruschetta flatbread was not cooked enough (the dough), disappointing. The best thing wasn't even part of huff estates, the oysters. Not sure if we'll be back.
Sebastien has three incredible menus from which to choose for the perfect catered meal. Each course was beautifully presented, delicious. His French Chocolate Torte is "to die for." Sebastien is very charming. A wonderful experience.
We had a fabulous lunch at the Huff Estates Winery in the bright restaurant space that overlooks the vineyards. Sebastien Schwab is an artist who prepares delicious combinations using fresh local ingredients. This restaurant needs to be open for dinner as well!
Had a nice lunch here. Looked at the menu a few days before and deliberately came back.I had beef carpaccio; a bit salty but eminently eatable. My wife had the charcuterie board. She pronounced it very good. It comes in two sizes - $12/$24. There were a couple of items that were a bit hot for her taste so I got to steal some. We would have preferred softer bread rather than the hard, twice baked pieces. While all the meats and the chutney were good the highlight was the country paté.There were several families there. Four couples travelling together had 12 children in total. We counted nine others from toddlers to teens. We will return anytime we are in the area.
After a wonderful lunch at this restaurant last summer (delicious gnocci and roast beef sandwich) we were really looking forward to eating lunch there this year. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing this time. My husband and I each had the cod special. The fish was cooked alright and I kind of enjoyed the red pepper coulis, which could have had a little spice added to it, but the red rice was as dry as a bone (and I am a rice lover). I had to get butter and salt to add some flavour to it. The 5 pieces of carrot were completely bland. For the price, it should have been better.
