We had a wonderful experience with friendly and attentive service during a pleasant and budget-friendly meal on a quiet Sunday evening. The generous fresh vegetable salad was delightful, and the panko zucchini sticks were equally tasty. It was the perfect amount of fresh food for a light dinner for two, accompanied by a large sparkling water, all for R220 including the tip.

This Ocean Basket is located in a beautiful setting at the food court within Bloemfontein’s Loch Logan Waterfront Centre. With its proximity to the water, sitting outside on the deck is a delightful option, weather permitting. As I am on a 'no carb, no sugar' prescribed diet, I had to make some adjustments to my all-time favorite Hake Calamari Combo, which typically comes with chips and rice. Our waitress was very accommodating and suggested a full portion of delicious spinach instead of the usual butternut and spinach, as the butternut contains sugar. Stir-fried vegetables were also an option, but unfortunately, they included bell peppers and green beans, which are not suitable for my dietary restrictions. Therefore, I am giving this branch of the popular franchise a 5 STAR rating for being so accommodating to my needs.
