Second time here on route to my fishing tripOutstanding grilled cheese with homemade bread and dynamite poutineService was friendly and quick.
Step back to a time when great tasting homestyle cooking at great prices was available. 17 is that place. Great staff, fresh clean surroundings, great cooking, and unbelievably fair pricing. My wife had an open-face hot turkey sandwich (real turkey, not canned filler) and I...had open-face hamburger with fries and gravy. Both were delicious. Definitely worth going out of your way to eat here!
This small town restaurant is perfect. All the food we tried was clearly homemade, with no pre-packaged items. They even made their own bread in-house. I ordered the turkey club and it was made with real pieces of Brat-Turkey, not processed slices. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.
This is the worst food and service experience we’ve had in a long time. It was not busy. We had to ask servers (yes plural) to clean a space for us to sit, after 10 minutes, if we could get a menu, twice. We had...to ask two more people if we could order….then we had to ask (once we had takeout order in hand) if we could get the bill. Nachos were obviously made, then re-baked on a top of “new” tortillas. It was dry and awful. It was absolutely YUCK. We ended up throwing it away. No one knew what they were doing! We will never be back ever again.
