Cute and quiet place to get ice cream and Boba anytime of the year!! Sweet Monster is locally owned by a wonderful and strong family who work very hard with real ethics.

I would rate this 0 stars if I could. The milk tea is very watered down. We tried to get modifications in order to try to enjoy the drink however they would not let us. We tried to speak to a supervisor, owner, or higher up but it was pulling teeth to get to speak to someone about how we did not like the drinks. The workers were not helpful at all. In addition, we were told milk powder was used to make the drinks yet there was a sign that advertised fresh milk.

Got two drinks and they met expectations. The space was clean and the only thing I knock them for is the workers having headphones in while interacting with multiple customers. I’m just little old school.

I would rate 0 if I could. They got rid of the only good thing, the ice cream. And now they only have milkshakes that are as thin as water, boba milk tea that tastes like water with a hint of herbs, and only 2 seats with half the restaurant closed off for no reason. 0/10 I miss the old sweet monster I do not recommend. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.

Honestly, I’m surprised at the variety they offer, boba tea, pastries, rolled ice cream, and everything looks very cute! The cheesecake and vanilla cake weren’t anything special. The drinks I had were good, and the service was fast! We got there in the evening and the egg waffles were all sold out. It’s spacious, but not a lot of seating. Wish we had one of these in Anchorage!
